I went over to David and CC’s place to pick up one of Maddie’s cribs (she had two), and obviously got sucked into baby timewarp where nobody can escape (15 minutes turns into hours). I guess you don’t realize all of the small milestones in life until you have a baby (or in my case, your sister has a baby). Well, Maddie hit another one today by picking up something for the first time. That something was her rattle, and she got pretty assertive with it. I captured it all on my cell phone. I’m starting to realize that I might need to keep a better video capture device in my pocket while around Miss Rose.

I forgot about that one. My mom was determined to make me right-handed when I was a baby. Unfortunately she was always facing towards me and didn’t realize that her right was my left.

I still get so upset about that, Michael!!! It’s one of the times I look back on that make me want to slap myself. With “either” hand. ; ) Fortunately…it hasn’t seemed to affect your athletic capabilities any. : )
