I also brought my video camera to Maddie’s first Easter, but she was asleep most of the time. I did get a few short clips though, so I compiled them into this little video…

Maddie’s 1st Holiday Ever…Easter
So Madeline just experienced her first holiday ever (not counting April Fools Day) this past Easter Sunday. Based on her continual sleeping, I would say she wasn’t impressed. Here are a few photos…
Madeline is now on Twitter!
Madeline is all set up with her own Twitter account. Whenever this blog is updated, it will automatically send a tweet to her Twitter account keeping all of her followers up-to-date. I’ve also installed a “Tweet This” button for every blog post. If you have a Twitter account, and would like to tweet one of Maddie’s posts, click that button. I’m not sure if anyone is going to administer her Twitter account, so it will most likely be a one-way relationship…you can follow her, but I doubt she’ll follow you.

Madeline picks up her rattle for the 1st time
I went over to David and CC’s place to pick up one of Maddie’s cribs (she had two), and obviously got sucked into baby timewarp where nobody can escape (15 minutes turns into hours). I guess you don’t realize all of the small milestones in life until you have a baby (or in my case, your sister has a baby). Well, Maddie hit another one today by picking up something for the first time. That something was her rattle, and she got pretty assertive with it. I captured it all on my cell phone. I’m starting to realize that I might need to keep a better video capture device in my pocket while around Miss Rose.
Two Week Check Up
Today Madeline Rose went for her two week check up. She’s doing great, and weighs in at 7 lb 15 oz and is 21″ long. They were very impressed with how alert she is and smart, too! ; ) Here’s a picture of Mom and Baby in the examining room.
